Eldaterra Reunion

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

There's a lot of things happening right now, but I'm going to update about my batch reunion first, which was held 2 weeks ago. Just to clarify for those who do not know. Eld is actually the short form for our batch (Seri Puteri 0711) name, Eldaterra. My friends, Dala, Ayef and a few more were the masterminds of this memorable event. The most exciting part was... *drum roll* I got the chance to meet my best friends, all at once! Except for Zahraa, who's in Jordan right now. But, she's gonna come back for good soooonnnn as she'll graduate a few months more. No reason not to meet after this hehe.

The night before the reunion day, 5 of my best friends came to my (2nd) house in Vista Komanwel and stayed here for 2 nights! We had so much fun, just like the old times during high school when we gathered in the dorm and had a chit chat until one by one fell asleep. It was just about the same. The same us, the same person, the same character. One of the only differences was the topics we discussed haha. The 6 of us gathered around and told stories, from reminiscing our high school memory to updating our current life, study, etcetera.

We planned to make kek batik and bring it as a potluck to the reunion. We were too lazy to do anything on Friday's night, and Faai was not feeling well. As the ingredients for the kek batik had been bought, we decided to make the kek batik on Saturday's morning. Sedapnya nyumnyum! We chilled it in the fridge for a few hours. Farah invited us to have lunch at her house before going to the reunion. We thought of going to Farah's house at 3pm, but at 12pm most of us were hungry. And guess what? We ate the kek batik............ So, no potluck to bring.

Hashtag too hungry not to eat the kek batik haha.

Sharp at 3pm we went to Farah's house, which is situated about 30 minutes from Vista.

Let the journey begin!

The four of us who sat at the back. Faai and Wafi had to focus on the road hehe.

There was a lot of food being served on the table, even got some brownies, which were specially made by Farah herself! Great food, with great companions. Not to forget, great house, great car, great everything as well haha. While waiting for Sara and Aini to arrive, we took the chance to take photos! Yeah, girls.

Then we went to the reunion. We were a bit late because of the traffic jammed. As we entered the house, the aura changed. I felt an undeniable overwhelming awkward situation for a couple of minutes. But the bond was still there. It has always been there, never disappeared. I was really happy to see them, and though they are more beautiful nowadays (they really are!!!), but they are still the same people I knew! I'll let the photos tell everything.

During Tahlil & Yassin.

After 5 years of not meeting each other, salam & peluk, muah kiri muah kanan.

My Sapphire friends! My 'house' mates, dorm mates, cheer mates, bed mates.

Last but not least . . .
