Failure

Failure is not something one aims for. I bet no one ever wishes to fail. I set up a really high goal for myself, and when I don't manage to achieve what I've aimed, I feel like I fail. I see myself as a failure.  The thoughts of being a failure haunt me day and night, telling me I'm not good enough. Like I'd said a few times, Medic is never easy for me. When I fail to achieve something, my heart shatters. I feel discouraged and down, at the same time start to doubt myself. And knowing that I have less than one year to graduate somehow increases my anxiety.  Am I competent enough?  Can I handle everything?  But, every time I have this feeling, I would remind myself.  Failure without effort is either a real failure or a reminder. Failure after putting a lot of effort and hard work is a chance to improve and a gap to fill, in other words, to make you better in that particular area. In life, there are ups and downs, and I believe, one time you...

Blog Tips: How To Make All Links Open In A New Tab

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I just made a new change in my blog page. If you click at any link in my page, it will open up a new tab instead of go directly to the link. I found out that it's easier if I visit anyone's blog, click on the link given and it opens a new tab; I don't have to leave the initial page and can easily click without having to return to the previous page. So, I thought maybe I should do the same thing for my blog. It requires only a few steps and trust me, it is super duper easy. All you have to do is just follow the steps below. 1. Go to blogger dashboard (blogger.com) 2. Click more options (button with arrow beside 'View blog'), and click 'Template' 3. Backup your template first, just in case if something wrong happened. Go to 'Backup / Restore' at the top right of the page and click 'Download template'. 4. Click 'Edit HTML'  5. Find <head>   by cli...

15 Useful Tips For Krabi Budget Trip

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Here are some tips that I managed to remember. Hope this post will help you in planning your trip!  1. Fill in the immigration form in the flight. When we arrived, there was a really, really long line, queuing behind the immigration counters. We didn't write our flight number and 'address in Thailand' because we thought it wasn't important, but then at the counter itself, the customs officer asked us to fill everything, then we had to search back everything and write them down. Luckily, I saved all those details in my handphone. So, make sure you fill in EVERYTHING needed to save time. For 'address in Thailand', just write the address of the place you'll be staying.  2. Don't book any tour package while on your way from the airport to hotel. The van / taxi that you take will bring you to a company for packages and trip booking. DON'T BOOK ANY FROM THEM because you will get a wayyyy...

Ramadan Is Here! What Should I Do?

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. Exactly 2 weeks left before my final examination. I'm so sorry for leaving this blog hiatus for quite some time. Anyway, today is the second day of the month of Ramadan and Alhamdulillah we are still here to taste the ni'mah of Ramadan. It's not too late to start listing down your Ramadan resolutions, as what people always say 'Better late than never', and I'm sure most of you who are reading this post will start speaking inside, reminding your heart what your resolutions are. It can be anything. From waking up for sahoor, helping the needy to standing a part of the night for tahajjud. But those are not the only thing about Ibadah(s).  Ibadah is a word with one meaning (worship), which has a few branches and broad classifications as it is not only confined to the pillars of Islam, but also comprises a lot of other good deeds and behaviours. Ibadah or worship is not restricted to fasting, prayer, going to...

How To Write Bold, Italic and Strikethrough Words In Whatsapp

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. One of the new features that has just been updated from Whatsapp is how to write words in BOLD , ITALIC AND STRIKETHROUGH . Here's an example; It's so simple and you only have to write 2 additional symbols for each kind. The example sentence that I'll be using for each type is 'My name is Ardilla'. 1.  BOLD - Add * before and after the sentence. Eg: *My name is Ardilla* 2.  ITALIC - Add _ before and after the sentence. Eg: _My name is Ardilla_  3.  STRIKETHROUGH - Add ~ before and after the sentence. Eg: ~My name is Ardilla~ And you can combine 2 or all of the types at the same time too! For example if I wanna make it like this ' My name is Ardilla ', simply write either _*My name is Ardilla*_ or *_My name is Ardilla_*. Make sure you have the two symbols/characters before and after the sentence. You might be thinking, nahh, it's complicated and time-consuming as well, so why shoul...

Must Read! Be Careful With This!

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.  Recently, I activated back my Carousell  to sell brand new things and also preloved stuff. There was this one guy who declared himself as an American, and was really interested in buying a preloved sweater of mine for his daughter who's staying in Thailand. At first, I wonder, did this guy being a cheapskate, buying a preloved one for his daughter. Well, you can't never imagine what an extreme cheapskate could do. Or maybe, he was finding the same sweater because I got the sweater from the United States. Here's how he started the conversation with me.  He was a customer and as a seller, of course I would email him straight away. So I told him that the item is still available for sale. So the conversation went on.  Then I gave him my account number for him to transfer and requested a receipt as a proof of payment has been made. And the next day I got a reply from him. I told him that I need to s...

My Study Week Routine (Part 2)

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. (Continue from Part 1 ) 2 days left before my final examination and the struggle is real! A day well spent yesterday, but let's not talk about it first as it's gonna be a loooonggg story. This post is the continuation of the first post (My Study Week Routine Part 1) I wrote. I have a habit of studying either sitting in a really quiet place such as the library or listen to songs. Nothing in between. Time study pun ada je rasa nak dengar lagu itu lah ini lah. And my favourite application to listen to my favourite songs is Spotify! (No, this is not a sponsored advertisement haha). Last month, I subscribed the premium Spotify because recently they offered 3 months for only RM2 ($*@HDN*@#!) and I have already downloaded the application in both laptop (its name is Maccy hehe gedik nak ada nama) and phone. A few advantages of subscribing the premium one are there's no Spotify ads in between the songs and I can play it offline. A...

Tambang LRT Naik! Ada Cara Murah?

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.  Recently, train fares have been increased included LRT, monorail and ERL, and ever since then, a lot of people seemed to express their dissatisfaction as those public transports are used to travel from one place to another place, not only just to shop and hang out with friends, but also to work and do daily errands. I never really concerned about this situation before as it has nothing to do with me because there's neither train nor road toll in Melaka, but this issue started to alarm me 2 days ago, when using the LRT and ERL has become a routine. Bila diri sendiri yang kena baru nak ambil kisah ish ish ish. I'm having my posting in HKL, so everyday I have to take the LRT from Sri Petaling, then change to monorail either in Hang Tuah or Titiwangsa, and straight to Chow Kit as it is the nearest train station from HKL. Itu pun I have to walk about 1.9km because O&G (Wad bersalin) building is the furthest away cis haha bole...

How To Add Pages / Tabs At The Top of Your Blog

Image
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabakaratuh. Recently, I edited my tabs at the top of this blog by changing it from list of posts to list of links because I think it's more reader friendly (acehh) as you can just click on the tab and there's a list of titles. Then I realised there are a few ways to where you can lead your tabs/pages to. I'm going to show you how to do it, step by step :) As far as I know, there are 3 ways of doing it. Let's begin! FIRST STYLE (A list of links) 1.   Go to your dashboard (www.blogger.com), then click 'Pages'. 2.   Click 'New Page' 3.   A new page will be opened, and it's like a normal 'new post' page. But the difference is this page won't be posted in your 'home'. As for example here, I wanna make a backlink to '2015 KL Big Kitchen Festival'. So, open a new page of where the post is and copy the link above (as you can see in the second photo below). 4.  ...
